Conservatory and Botanical Garden Greenhouses
Custom Designed Conservatory and Botanical Garden Greenhouses
We design and build aesthetically attractive and functional greenhouses ideal for conservatory, public, and botanical gardens for plants, animals and insects such as butterflies to flourish in an interactive space.
As public research and conservation efforts have grown over the years, RBI has led the conservatory greenhouse market to provide solutions for botanical gardens, arboreta, cemeteries, zoological gardens, urban greening organizations, private foundations, natural areas, and local, state and federal parks. Our designers and engineers also work closely with our greenhouse Maintenance Division to offer preventative maintenance, greenhouse renovations, and emergency greenhouse repairs.
Conservatories & Public Garden Greenhouses
As a Preferred Partner of the American Public Gardens Association, we work closely with public gardens across the country, and have for many decades. With public horticulture at the forefront of conservation and community education, we understand your need to be a good steward and for your greenhouse conservatory designs to provide a welcoming and accessible environment for plants and people.
Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Greenhouses and Biospheres
Our glass butterfly enclosures are built to facilitate both research and observation of butterflies in a climate-controlled greenhouse habitat. All accompanying greenhouse systems are designed to create the ideal environment to ensure butterfly longevity and human interactivity.
Lord & Burnham Greenhouses
Lord & Burnham greenhouses have been manufactured since 1849. Today, RBI owns many of Lord & Burnham’s original greenhouse design and engineering drawings to assist with historical greenhouse restorations and greenhouse renovations. Our ability to fabricate historically accurate Lord & Burnham greenhouse parts will bring your structure back to life – better than it was before.
Zoological Gardens
As a member of the Association of Zoological Horticulture, we’ve worked with organizations across the country on large scale aviaries, vivariums, herpetariums, serpentariums, and educational extension greenhouses. Zoological horticulture and animal enclosures are designed in harmony, to create complimentary environments for both plants, animals, and visitors.
If you’re looking to take your zoo’s renewable conservation efforts further, consider working with our sister-company, RBI Solar to design and build a solar panel canopy like this one at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
