The TECHLITE House
The TECHLITE HOUSE by Rough Brothers is an aluminum A-frame design that utilizes a double-skinned, insulated glazing material with an aluminum substructure to maximize light penetration and thermal insulation. Standard truss designs permit clear-span widths in either free-standing or gutter-connected combinations. Ridge vents and sidewall vents are both available and can be supplied as either manual or motor operated. The greenhouse configuration is typically A-Frame, but Lean-To, Sawtooth and custom designs are easily accommodated. MORE >>

The panels are secured to primary glazing bars using an EPDM gasketed clamping bar incorporating a rigid P.V.C. thermal break. Additional glazing components provide total adaptability to vertical and sloped roof installations and allow for the use of continuous vents.

The TECHLITE glazing system is designed for use with an aluminum truss framework, with trusses spanning the full width of the structure.
Materials and Glazing
A combination of 8 mm or 16 mm thick acrylic or polycarbonate insulated panels and high strength aluminum alloy glazing bars permit maximum light penetration and thermal insulation. TECHLITE is so energy efficient that it pays for itself in energy savings.
|USES & APPLICATION|
The TECHLITE glazing system is ideal whenever natural light will enhance the space enclosed and energy conservation is important. Both vertical and sloped glazing for greenhouses are excellent applications for the TECHLITE glazing system. Common installations include universities, research facilities, schools and botanical gardens.
