The Rough Brothers R - House greenhouse system, created for research and teaching applications, was designed from the inside out to provide flexibility of space utilization and equipment installation and a higher levelof  enclosure performance than previously available. A rigid frame structure is the foundation, with shade and vent opera tors mounted within or above the frame and not protrud ing into the growing space, which opens up the interior volume for larger crops or supplemental equipment to be mounted at optimum locations.

The glazing system incor porates all the features of current window and curtain wall technology with four-side gasketed support of the glass, thermalimprovement, one-inch insulated glass on the verticalsurfaces, rain screen, pressure equalization, and anodized finish.Pre-engineered corner, eave, and gable closures allow for roof  pitches from 3/12 to 12/12 without extrusion modification,or exposed fasteners.
